Imagine T-Bone Steak for only P99... It was really the cheapest for me... You know i loved to try new food and my hobby is EATING... but at this shop it's my 3rd time to eat... I am again with iamithal and my mom because we just came from the hospital for my mothers physical therapy and me and iamithal also visited our school director who was brought to hospital because of heat stroke... we went in the steakhouse... Of course my favorite T-Bone... I wish there is the bottomless ice tea... unfortunately it's out of stock... with this "Nakakaimbyerna"... The steak comes out with rice... this time i feel the hot room temperature because it seems that the aircon is off... "Nakakainis talaga"... and this more when we are eating, there are lots of flies that is also sharing with us... "Nakakabwisit talaga"... this is the last time i will eat at this branch because they have branch at Quezon Ave and Visayas Ave pa naman... But promisely their food are sumptous and delicious, it was just the accomodation maybe because of their cheaper price compare to other steakhouse...

Now 2009, global financial crisis is one of the reason why there are employee who are layoff their jobs.. i think since then unemployment rate for Philippines is too high.. and i salute the effort made by NGO (Non-Government Offices) or Private Company who makes their way in giving jobs.. i remember last year when we attended the JOBSDB Career and Entrepreneur Fair at World Trade Center (WTC).. I was shocked with the innovated system that JOBSDB uses.. before we can enter the JOB EXHIBITOR area we need to register in a computer then get our JOBSDB career card., there are i think 100+ companies who participated the event.. me and my friends attended seminars like topics on GOOGLE, topic on Fake Passports, topics on working Abroad and etc. i was thankful to meet Ms. Aileen Apollo of Google.com, she is the representative of Google to the Philippines.. after roaming around the job exhibitor area we went to the entrepreneur exhibitor are which was organized by the sister company of JOBSDB which is 88DB., 88DB is an online classified ads site.. of course we again register in the computer to receive freebies.. i was given complimentary copy of a newspaper, Angel Locsin's boutique item which i gave to my mom, 50pcs 88DB personalized calling card, and free picture stub from KONSEPTO (FOTO LOCO)., i gave this foto loco stub to my friend and it was great because he was given a chance to have foto shoot with Mr. Matranillo and her daughter Kris, which turns to be my friends crush since then.. we also watch a psychokinesis master that is bending and even knotting the metal spoon and fork.. in the later part of the event, Angel Locsin came to have an encouragement speech for aspiring entrepreneur.. we end the day fill with lots of wisdom and knowledge., even experience riding the MMDA bus... hehe its was fun...

Telecommunication plays a big role for everyone because it stand as our bridge towards other and if there is no telecommunication for sure misunderstanding will be everywhere.. Telco company is a need for the following: Business, Personal, Studies, and etc. and i am bless that i was given a chance to work as an OJT in the biggest and known Telco here in the philippines.. Hehehe may ganun.. I worked @ PLDT Gracepark for my practicum and it last for several mos.. I was assign in the Central Office Main Distribution Frame (its where the telephone and the DSL lines came from in other word it is the plant controller).. of course at 1st its kinda weird because the room is under high security and only people with access card can enter to avoid conflicts because whats inside is the company's business and it can be sabotage by other or can be destroyed by person who dont know what it is... But the persons inside are good because they are hospitable, i feel great when they welcome me and my classmate., during our 1st week we are task in the VERIFY area where in the cableman or any plant personnel can verify a specific detail.. it was fun but somehow difficult specially if there are calls that came at the same time.. if i was not mistaken we accomodate 100calls per day(verify and timbre), imagine.. The next week our supervisor introduce the test board wherein with the use of this tool we are able to distinguish where and what the trouble is.. and in this area we also accept "DIKTA" either SO or FU(its the jumpering jobs that the CO personnel will do).. but we didn't last in the "DIKTA" area because our kuyas introduced to us the MDF meaning we will try to do jumpering but of course its not that easy that's why they observe us so that they can correct us if we commit mistakes... still there are lots to share but i think its enough for now... that's a sneak peak on how wonderful to work with a telco..

It was indeed a different experience to join a Filipino Feast, like what i did last February 15., It was the feast day of San Roque in Caloocan. Caloocan is a historical city like what their logo says " Ang Makasaysayang Lungsod ng Caloocan." Caloocan has two District the North District and the South District.. I just joined my friend who live at 10th avenue, of course the usual way in feast is to have salo salo... we ate our lunch at their house... wow Lengua (my favorite), there is also pancit, biko, menudo, lumpiang shanghai, lumpiang hubad ( it is the lumpia of vegetables that is not wrapped in a lumpia wrapper), chicken strips and lot more.. In filipino community it is a tradition or i should say usual to celebrate feast with lots of food, i don't know why.. The event that caught my attention is the "Palarong Kalye" which is organized by their baranggay chairman.. Hahaha as i watch the games i feel that the people are enjoying.. hehehe... there is "agawang buko" wherein the aim of the player is to grab the buko with a lots of greese from his opponents. The next game is common even in birthday parties.. it is the apple eating contest wherein the pair of player needs to finish the apple hanging w/o using their hands.. hehhe the third game is the "basagang Itlog gamit ang Talong" its kinda weird game but it went smoothly, 4th game again common in birthday parties is the pabitin... but here theres a twist... you can see in most pabitin toys, candies, chocolates and other thing that make kids happy but at this fiesta its not the kids that is happy its their moms because the prizes in the pabitin are coffee, creamer, chocolate, sugar, soap, toothpaste, dishwashing liquid, even sardines and noodles... gosh what a game? hehehe but the last game is kinda boring and it is the PISO game where in the aim of the player is to bring the peso coin from his forehead to his mouth without using anything even hands... at this game you will see the different funny facial expression... what a face? by the way i think its time to go now... just see yah on my next article... bye...

I'm happy that i am a Musicapella choir member again, hehehe still in tenor voice even though i don't have practice due to i stop for a long period of time.. Thanks to my Sir Paolo for giving me again a chance to serve the Lord... Musicapella choir sings @ Santuario De San Jose in greenhills during 10:30am mass and by request for special occation. Santuario De San Jose is known not only by celebrities who attend mass here but also by couples who want to turn their wedding in to a special one. Santuario De San Jose is runned by Oblates of Saint Joseph Priests from Lipa, Batangas. When it comes to structure it has good and simple exterior with automatic church bell on one side, while in the interiors it has choir loft with great wooden altar in sparkling gold and silver color to make it elegant. I remember before we sings at the choir loft with lots of perspiration due to hotness of the place but now it is fully airconditioned... imagine thats a great improvement... not only the church has improved but also the sorroundings especially at connecticut street where in the red ribbon bakeshop and restaurant has now disappear. But opposite to it that is a parking space before became a pancake house and dencios grill... hehehe... i can't explain my feelings because i can serve again the LORD GOD through this choir and in this community...

I will also use this opportunity to promote our choir and our parish... To know more about the choir you may leave a message through the comment feature of my blog... and to know more about the parish

Have you heard of Sangkan (isang angkan kay KRISTO)? of course not, unless you have been involved to Minor Seminary (Minor seminaries are school or i should say formation house that is designed for highschool students who aspire to be a servant of GOD in the future, and Sangkan is one of the most awaited event in a school year because it somehow bonds minor seminarians from different minor seminaries in the Philippines through a friendly sportsfest with games like basketball/volleyball, chess, checkers, table tennis, darts, scrable, game of the generals and sometimes billiards/pool, badminton, or even swimming. Yearly there are four times Sangkans: 1st is for Seniors, 2nd is for Juniors, 3rd is for sophomores, fourth and the last one is for freshmen. I still recall all the Sangkans that i have joined because inorder to play you will first undergo a comprehensive training especially for outdoor games. I remember during my freshman years, all of us are required to attend the basketball training that is not easy because its to physical that will requires you alot of energy and power... For me i didn't like it because i hate outdoor games, the good thing is our PE coach let us choose between Basketball and Volleyball and i chose volleyball because i thought it will be easier than basketball, but again it is not easy like what i am expecting because our trainor is enhancing our flexibility and speed. no choice but i have to stay with the volleyball team. Our sangkan 1 was held at our homecourt in guadalupe makati but it was not that easy, even though we still get awards because there are only 3 seminaries that participated in our Sangkan. Our next sangkan which is Sangkan 2 was held at Sariyaya Quezon and for me we are privilege because we are given a chance to explore their seminary but due to it is province it has nothing to say with our seminary in makati.. Yabang! but its ok because we became contented with everything, the place, the food, and the person around even though our team in volleyball didn't win the game. And Lastly, which also turnsout as my last sangkan was in San Fernando, Pampanga. It isa our first Luzon wide sangkan meaning we have to stay in that seminary for 3days and 2nights. Here i didn't play anything because there is only one outdoor game which turns to be basketball where in we bag the champion trophy even though our captainball was injured due to leg cramps. Foods here are all authentic Pampangeños especialties like TOCINO, LONGGANISA, BURONG KANIN, LECHON BAKA and etc. It will be my unforgettable sangkan. After staying in the seminary we had our victory party in one of my classmate's villa. we had swimming to refresh our tired body, others enjoy the sing along but others just rest in the cottage.. "hindi lang kami nagenjoy or nasayahan, nakapagbonding pa kaming magkakaklase." Sangkan is truly a bridge of unity...

Actually, my grandfather's province was in Batangas. But honestly speaking i haven't visited it yet because my grandpa transfer here in Metro Manila when he was married to my grandma. Thanks to my field trip in high school because we visit Batangas at last. We visited the Cathedral of Batangas which is known for its gold and silver altar table because according to the tour guide during the Spanish era most of the people who lived in Batangas are rich and they offer golds and silver to the church that makes it an altar table. Next stop was the Balisong Factory the famous product of Batangas, now i realize that its not that easy to make a simple Balisong for it undergo a lot of different processes from heating the metal to the highest temperature, smashing the metal to form a Balisong shape, then sharpening will follow to make it useful and lastly is the designing of the casing or the hand grip of the Balisong. Most of us likes sweets and that's our next destination the area of Panutsa Makers. Panutsa are peanuts with brown sugar that formed a thin circle shape because of the caramel of brown sugar. Its a little bit easy to make a Panutsa than to make a Balisong because the people there demo it to us and allow us also to interact in the cooking process. 1st thing is to heat the "Kawa" where the brown sugar will be caramelized then 2nd is to caramelized the sugar after it is 3rd to put the cook peanuts in the caramelized sugar, continue stirring until it became thick and lastly the fourth step is what they called "Palo-Palo" it is where the mixed ingredients put in a clean table and to be hit by a "palo-palo" to make it flat and whole. It is fun to make panutsa. Going to your hometown can't be replace by going to any place around.

Last night, when i was browsing SINJIN'S Blog page. I was so attracted to his header's photo and it was a volcano. Immediately, I remember my experience when i was in 2nd year high school. We visited the crater of the famous Taal volcano, it was an unforgettable experience for me because going inside to see the crater is a privilege. We walk in the forest for a couple of hours just to reach the peak and then you will again walk downward just to reach the side of the crater. But all of your sacrifices will be rewarded when you see the beautiful surroundings inside the crater. Actually its not really magma or lava that's flowing inside the crater during ordinary days but instead its only sulfuric water that is in the upper portion or the lake portion of the crater. And one thing that caught my attention was the big rock in the center of the crater, no one from our tour guide can explain well why there was rock in the center of the crater lake. Unfortunately after walking for so many hours we can't stay longer inside the crater because its about to rain and its dangerous because our pathways will be slippery and the craters lake is going up. Just to be safe we just followed the instruction of the tour guides. Again it was indeed an unremarkable experience.

I will never forget the TOYCON that me and my friends have attended last year... it was in deed the best fair that i attended that year. i remember it was early in the morning when i invited my friends to attend the said fair because i thought that the admission is for free. when we reached the location, we see long queque lines going inside the TOYCON. some are wearing their anime costume because there will be a cosplay in the afternoon. We pay P80 each as entrance fee but its okay because we enjoy the whole day as if there is no tommorrow... hahahaha... may ganun... we saw different toy stall selling action figure from brand new to antique which i think came from their chest box at home... in the afternoon the cosplayer showcased their costume on stage. many anime fanatic take out their camera to take a shot with their favorite anime character. My favorite is the Hulk, and Mario... hehehe... they are awesome... we even see our schoolmates roaming around the event hall... again it was indeed one of the best fair that i have attended...

Last week January 12 to be exact... one of my friend invited me to go to THE FORT... for me it's exciting because it was my first time to attend/go to market market... but when we are on the way, it was not good because there was a not so heavy traffic the good thing is that we are riding an aircon bus shuttle. When the bus have entered THE FORT compound it was a "Thanks Lord", my friend said "It was not like this before, because now there are lots of building and condominiums." For me it was already developed for the future. Our bus passed by the Bonifacio High Street which has our favorite Tambayan "TIMEZONE". i should say it was not that beautiful outside... but it's ok... Finally, the bus already reached our main goal to go to MARKET MARKET... Gosh! i didn't expect Public School Students roaming around for it was surrounded by Serendra Condominiums out side... There are also kids who are asking for "ALMS". I thought this mall is like Glorietta or other Malls that is full of sossy person but its not. It's More Pangmasa... Our main goal is to visit our Tambayan "TIMEZONE", we just roamed around to see their machine. after that my friend IAMITHAL pulled us to LAZER EXTREME... a sales person or i should say the receptionist approach us about the place and we've found out that the price is P170/ 15 minutes during weekdays and P190/ 15minutes during weekends... for me it was very expensive because that time i have no money on hand... but finally we've decided to try it... hahaha... for the sake of we are already there... when we are at the briefing area the presentation make us laugh because of the animation explaining the do's and dont's inside the game area... and we are finally about to enter the ground, the vest and the guns are all ready... It's war time... if you are inside you will not worry about the remaining time because it seems to be long because we are enjoying shot lazer gun here! hide there! Run! it was very funny that we're only 3. Me, iamithal, and the crew... HAHAHA... at last it's now finish... i can't believe that i became the 2nd in the scoreboard and iamithal became the 3rd... but iamithal's accuracy is higher that mine... The game was really tiring and you will surely perspire... So i hope you guys to see you there...
