Last May 24 was a special day because it's my 20th birthday. grabe, can't imagine that I'm turning older and older, from olgmscute15 now its webmasterphi@20... hehehe i told my mom to celebrate my birthday the simplest way because i have no guest at all. But they insisted my demand and instead prepare a lots of food for my birthday... hehehhe "kaya ayun kain to the max na naman ako, kasi ala naman kakain ng food eh." what gift i received for my birthday? 1st just a couple of months ago when my cellphone was stolen my dad gave me my new Nokia 7210 Supernova as an advance birthday gift. 2nd just this month i received my salary from my boss and a money from my dad again (pambili daw ng extra phone kasi yung isa kong phone will be given to my youngest brother). When i combined this money that i received, i was able to buy my iphone clone (sciphone 168++). 3rd i also received a pasalubong and at the same time birthday gift from my mom. Giordano t-shirt with I love Singapore Logo, a pair of Crocs Sandals, a Key Chain with Merlion logo, and lots of chocolates, all fresh from singapore. 4th i also received a money gift from my aunt and uncle who leaves at Las Piñas. To my loved once who gave me birthday presents, thank you very much and i love you all. There are also lots of people who greeted me not only thru text and phone call but also thru social networking sites, thank you for remembering my special day. You too rocks my day. I would also like to thank Timezone Trinoma for the Birthday Bash which me and my friends enjoy just this month of june, i really enjoy playing with different arcade machines. "Basta sa lahat ng hindi ko na nabanggit but rocks my special day. thank you very much." hehehehe before i forget my simple wish is "good health, more fortune, and protection. Not only to me but to my whole family." i hope on my debut next year i can post a blog contest. Calling all sponsor hehehehe (nagpaparinig na!). again happy birthday to me and may i have many more birthdays to come...

Last June 12 (Independence Day) Our choir Musika-pella of Santuario De San Jose together with some instrumentalist had a wedding gig @ San Jose Manggagawa Parish in Marikina. At first i feel so scared to get lost because i'm really not familiar with place of marikina, thanks to sir rolly for guiding and accompanying me. The parish got nice interior and great altar that is best for wedding plus it also has good sound system making the choir sounds well. Our choir master decided to divide the pieces to all of us. he asked me and my co-tenor to sing the psalm "how lovely is your dwelling place" which was accompanied by the pianist and violinist. he also asked ate abby to sing the offertory song "your heart today" which is also accompanied by the pianist and violinist. he even asked the sopranos to sing the communion song "pastorale" while us boys are tasked to sing another communion song "bawat sandali". And as choir we sing the very high Our Father, Minsan lang kita iibigin, How did you know and Love is the answer. For me this is my first successful wedding gig. Actually Lenten week starts on a Palm Sunday but unfortunately i wasn't able to go to mass (pero i watch Sunday TV mass at Channel2)... My brother and Dad attended the mass for the Palm that will be bless... hehehe... on Wednesday i have visited 2 different churches which is the Redemptorist Parish at Baclaran and the Shrine of St. Therese at Villamor Airbase (it is just across NAIA Terminal 3)... the next day was the start of the Tridum or the 3 important days of Lent... It was Maundy Thursday with our yearly routine, we attended the Annual Lenten Retreat at Araneta Coliseum., hehehe its from 7am up to 12noon., the speaker for Thursday was Teacher Pagsi, he is a teacher in Ateneo De Manila University and also an awardy for Gawad Henyo Lopez i think... he's sharing was good, because on his topic he discuss the importance of teaching... we went home around 1pm, hehehe.., my aunt and uncle went to our parish to attend the celebration of the Last Supper and the Washing of the Feet.., because of the tiring morning i wasn't able to join them... huhuhu.... (sayang nga din kc i wasn't able to do my Panata which is to have "VISITA IGLESIA" wherein we are visiting 7 different churches in our place just by walking). next was Good Friday., again Retreat in the morning at Araneta, for todays speaker it should be Fr. Pascual the president of Radio Veritas but due to he is sick that time he wasn't able to do his talk instead he was replaced by a good priest also Fr. Arlo Yap, this priest is funny, and during his talk he never let the listener or the audience feel sleepy because he mixed it with some joke, real application, or even some humour... hehehe after this retreat we alltogether watch the seven last word at Channel2., it was done in Christ The King Mission Seminary and was televised via Channel2.., my aunt and uncle together with my brother again go to our parish to join the proccession., as usual "di na naman ako nakasama"... hehehe... next day was black saturday again retreat araneta colliseum, it was Fr. Gomez who facilitated the retreat., "galing nga nya talaga eh"... Fr. Gomez is the president of the Healing Eucharist Group at Channel2... Healing Eucharist was the Sunday TV Mass that is televised via Channel2... in the evening was the Easter Vigil it is also the blessing of the Fire, Candle and the Water... the next day was the easter sunday for filipinos it is "Pasko ng Pagkabuhay"... it is usually started with Salubong which was joined by my Aunt, Uncle, Brother and Father... hehehe as usual i didn't join again... hehehe... there are easter egg hunting and celebration because JESUS has risen from the Dead.., of course my weekly responsibility is to sing with my Musikapella Choir at Santuario De San Jose Parish (greenhills, san juan)... every lenten celebration here in the philippines was special because as we all know filipinos are religious and during this days we reflect on the christ's suffering on the cross just to save the world from sin... "grabe noh iba ang pagmamahal ni GOD sa atin noh"... he let his son suffer on the cross just to save us from our sins... that's why there are lots of filipino who are "Namamanata" because they make themselves feel what JESUS feels on the cross... but for me we can feel in even without letting ourselves hang on the cross... we can just do fasting and abstinance at home and avoid for a while some worldy things... but we should put in our mind that the important thing during this days is to Forgive and be Forgiven... because it is the act or the deed that will make GOD happy...

I am very thankful that i became part of the seminary because in my 3 years stay, i learn a lot of things... imagine i was given a chance to learn the root of all languages which is latin but i find hard time studying it that's why i always get a grade of line of 70++ hehehe... i also became sociable because talking to other seminarian brother who you totally don't know is hard but because of the seminary all of us bond like brothers... i also became active spiritually hehehehe even though sometimes i sleep during reflection time... but what i want is i learn different prayers like the christian prayer book, some latin prayers and etc... But what i like most in my stay in the seminary is the trips we had like what i shared in my previous post... this one is different because we just walk during the trip... hehehe... "kala ko nga papayat ako with this trip... pero di pala..." This was our pilgrimage to the Shrine at Antipolo... here's what happen at 6 or 7 pm we already finish eating our dinner and our rector ask us to take a nap so that our body will be prepared for the walking... at 11pm the bell rang and its the sign to prepare the things that we will be bringing and also its the time for us to have our hot chocolate in the refectory so that we will be alive/"gising"... and at around 11:30pm we leave the seminary walking along the sidewalks of EDSA... i feel the cold air that is touching our skin... may ganun... at last we have reached the EDSA shrine where in the FX and REVO is waiting for those seminarian who cannot continue walking... one of our bukluran member who is a freshman said that he cannot continue because he is very tired... that's why we let him ride the vehicles... but our bukluran never stop walking... we walked by the meralco avenue wherein a police mobile patrol stop in the group in front of us... they was confronted and asked by the policeman for security reason but the good thing was the REVO came with one of our formattor in it... Our priest formattor talks to the policemen... "kala yata mga akyat bahay sila or mga gangster na makikipagaway" hehehe... we stop at almost every convience store that we will see whether 7 eleven, ministop, or the convenience store in gasoline station... we buy drinks (mineral water, energy drink and etc) and also chocolates to take away the tiredness in us... when we reached cainta i think... there was many beerhouses... and my bukluran mates asked if we can stop in a TAPSI store to buy drinks because he feels thirsty... there was a GRO that is eating inside... the GRO ask the cutest in our bukluran and that's not me its my kabukluran... hehehe... our kabukluran is very shy same to us because we are only highschool that time that's why my bukluran told the girl that we are Seminarians... when the GRO knew that we are Seminarians she stop asking us... maybe "nahiya siya"... hehehe when we reached another part of rizal... the other van is there waiting for us our RVM sisters prepare hot pandesals and water to take away our tiredness and thirstness... hehehe "may ganung word ba"... we have reached the Arc welcoming us to Antipolo city... here we feel very tiring because the roads are going up and down... hehehe... "hirap maglakad"... i tell my kabukluran that we are near to the shrine because its my 2nd time to go here but i was wrong... i think we walk another 10-20 km to reached the shrine... grabe noh layo pala... at last we reached the shrine... and in there our rector asked us to prepare ourself for the mass... we change our clothes to collared shirt... and went inside the shrine to celebrate the mass... it was indeed a different experience for me because its not easy to walk from GUADALUPE, MAKATI up to ANTIPOLO CITY... hehehehe... try it and its worth it because it a sacrifice for the OUR LADY...
